Somewhere Over The Rainbow

For those who knows me well enough, they certainly knows about my passion.ummm maybe not passion ..the word passion is too strong .. "preference" over instrumental musics with orchestra on the top of my list,followed by single instruments (eg, piano, guitar , CLARINET , saxophone etc etc etc)

About guitar, I just can't stop listening to this piece that this guy Graham Choo ( a Singaporean kid) is playing... and of course my 2 favourite guitarist is just right in my block (E.C Li and LMN ). Why ? Cause I can order them to play any songs that I want. Of course its so much cheaper than hiring a group of violinist to play for you.

Unlike bulls, they are much more easier to handle. I don't have to pull their hairs just to get them play ... ^_^


Basically, they are really nice people. I just pray that apart from medicine , they will be higher achievers in this area of their lives.. maybe like Graham Choo or even better!!

The Promise ( secret garden )

I felt so peaceful after listening to this ...

Remember this cute little girl who sang "Ode to the Motherland" at the opening ceremony for the Beijing Games 2008.

Well, it wasn't her voice that we heard.She was just lip sync-ing the words which had been recorded by this 7 year old girl on the left .

The reason the 7 year old girl was replaced was that her face was deemed "not suitable" for the opening ceremony.Hello? Not suitable?

I was even appalled when I heard this guy Chen Qigang,the general music designer of the opening ceremonies, said that “The child on camera should be flawless in image, internal feeling and expression.”

How could you tell a child - Oh I am sorry you have a wonderful voice and we want to use it but you're too ugly to be seen? How heartless could one be. Remember my entry on why pretty .

Well, in another few years time,this 7 year old girl will grow up and be convinced that she is ugly and unworthy of any affection. Remember the girl who lip-synced? What a great impact it would be on her life.She will be marked as "the imposter" for the rest of her life.Even so,the media world has named her as the world class fakes.

The Earthquake that jolts China (Sichuan)

On May 12th, a 7.8 magnitude of earthquake jolts China’s Sichuan province.

This earthquake happened during the afternoon (around 2pm, I think) and most of the kids were still in school. As a result of that, most of the victims of the earthquake are children (as most of the buildings that collapsed were schools and hospitals).

China is holding a 3 day mourning period starting from the 19th May to 21st May for the earth quake victims.Please pray for those who are affected by the earthquake, may God give hope for those who are still lost, the strength to stay alive, and comfort to families who have lost their loved ones.

One of my favourite chinese singer Lin Jun Jie has composed a song entitled "Love And Hope" or "Ai Yu Xi Wang" for the victims of Sichuan earthquake which occurred on 12th May 2008. He didn’t sleep for 2 days in order to compose this song with the lyrics .All profits from this album will go to the earthquake fund.




Please remember to continue to pray for China and Myanmar (that their government will open up their doors for more aid to reach them ASAP )


P/S : I saw a report yesterday on people who had been buried for 127 hours was rescued! Miracles can happen.. Thank God. :DD

Hitler's Birthday 20 April

Yay... because of him ... we are having 5 days of holiday. People in Malaysia would be wondering what is so great about his Birthday..On this very day the extremist groups in Russia are planning events and heightened their activity throughout the month of April especially during his birthday.
I've been here for 4 years and I am glad that I've never seen the ugly site of Moscow ( growing movement in Russia where neo-Nazi groups are brutally attacking immigrants and spreading their hate by posting violent videos online.)
